We invite postgraduates, academics, and practice-based researchers to propose papers, provocations, workshops, and presentations exploring creative approaches to research.
Themes to consider include, but are not limited to:
- Practice-based research. Practice as research. Practice-led research.
- Scholarly research with creative aspects. How creative approaches can help scholarly researchers.
- Impact and output – creative ways to get your research out there.
- Creative innovation in an academic world.
- The creative-critical.
- New ways to do old things.
- Creativity isn’t just for artists.
- Intermediality.
- Are we wedded to distinctiveness in methodology?
- Technology in research – creative material or workaday tool?
- Can creative practice be both research and result?
- Collaboration.
We welcome proposals on these or any other relevant topics within the area of creative approaches to PhD and early career research.
The deadline for proposal submission is Friday 4 May 2018.
